Cotz Face: A fantastic new facial sunscreen worth checking out!

Five stars for COTZ FACE, for Natural Skin Tones, SPF 40 facial sunscreen - paraben-free and preservative-free!

CōTZ FACE, for Natural Skin Tones, SPF 40

The online drugstore Pharmaca is fantastic for many reasons, and one of those reasons includes the samples the drugstore includes along with any order. A recent order included four whole sample packets of CoTZ FACE for Natural Skin Tones, SPF 40 sunscreen, which I wanted to profile as a new favorite facial sunscreen. This is definitely one that I will personally buy a full-size tube of! This sunscreen is free of parabens, preservatives and chemical sunscreens and is rated a safe 2 on the EWG Skin Deep Database.

CoTZ FACE is one of the best feeling sunscreens I have ever applied on my face. The cream is so soft and easy to apply and is one of the few facial products I've used, aside from pure facial oils, that doesn’t pull at the skin when rubbing the product in. The sunscreen has a super light-weight, fluffy mousse texture that absorbs beautifully and evenly.

The ‘Natural Skin Tone’ tint is ideal for medium, tanned and dark skin tones (there is also a version available specifically for lighter and fair skin tones). This sunscreen is also a great replacement for a light foundation, for those who like to wear foundation every day. The tint in this sunscreen covers any gentle blemishes that the skin may be exhibiting.

Tested by yours truly in the Pacific Ocean’s waters, this sunscreen provides excellent water-resistant protection for well over an hour. The SPF 40 is also a great sunscreen factor for water sporting that may keep you out in the direct sunlight for several hours. CoTZ does offer several different SPF options on their website, including an un-tinted, all-natural version of the facial sunscreen.
