A great less-toxic option for a nail polish remover by Mineral Fusion!

Check out a review of Mineral Fusion's Nail Polish Remover below:

Many people are on a search nowadays for non-toxic nail polishes and removers, and rightly so, since the ingredients in most of these products are horrible for your health. Although it's practically impossible to even create a nail polish or polish remover that is completely free of synthetic chemicals, there are options that are certainly less toxic than others. Most popular brand name nail polish removers are quite toxic, and so I decided to once-and-for-all switch to a more trusted natural cosmetics brand - Mineral Fusion, for my nail polish removal needs.

I was so surprised how well this nail polish remover works! It's better than any other brand I have ever tried (those were usually Sally Hansen nail polish remover or the CVS brand nail polish remover) and it's not packed with carcinogenic chemicals. Seriously, this stuff works so easily and removes the nail polish almost instantly, without having to use a lot of product.

The ingredients consist of Methyl Acetate (rated a 2 on the EWG Skin Deep database), Isopropyl Myristate (rated a 1 on the EWG Skin Deep Database), and Fragrance. Now, I am not happy with the fact that this product contains fragrance. "Fragrance" is a very loose term and customers are left in the dark as to what makes up the actual fragrance ingredients. The fragrance present in this nail polish remover, even though it does make this remover smell nice compared to other nail polish removers I've used, is the only reason why I took one star away from this extremely effective polish remover. If Mineral Fusion can replace the artificial fragrance with a natural one, or remove it altogether, I would certainly give them 5 stars for creating a fantastic product free of carcinogenic chemicals.
