Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in "Palomino":
Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in "Palomino"
Bite
Beauty's Luminous Crème Lipstick in the shade "Palomino" is a
gorgeous, super pigmented fuchsia lipstick. As is the case with all of Bite
Beauty's lip products, this lipstick is toxin-free, made from natural
ingredients, and yet works just as well as the most expensive and most marketed
(and most often quite toxic) luxury makeup brands. "Palomino" is a
creamy formula that settles into the lips for a lovely, semi-matte appearance.
The formula does stain the lips after use - a really beautiful dark pink stain,
that can be removed by applying lip balm and gently rubbing it off. Those with
very dry lips, may want to apply a matte lip balm underneath this lipstick, as super pigmented lipsticks may
be slightly drying for some, although it is important to note that Bite
Beauty's lip products are generally considered non-drying by reviewers. I
personally like to recommend Beessential
lip balms for layering
beneath thick lipsticks, since Beessential lip balms are very matte and will
not interfere with a lipstick's intended finish.
This lipstick shade came in the Bite
Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick Duo in "Vivid", with the gorgeous
purple shade “Violet” on the other end of the tube. Check
out a review and pictures of "Violet" by clicking on this link. Both shades are also available in a full-sized individual
"Luminous Crème" lipstick from Bite Beauty. The lip duos that Bite
Beauty offers are really affordable, at $12 each, and they are a great way to
try out Bite Beauty's lipstick without forking out $24 for a full-sized tube.
The lip duos are also ideal for someone who might not use lipstick too often,
but who would like a small portion of pigmented, vivid lipsticks to keep in
their makeup bag for those special occasions where a pop of color is in order! Bite Beauty products can
be purchased at Sephora.
